Good grief Sarah- I haven't caught up with this or your other thread in a couple days... this is ridiculous!

I definitely wouldn't go back to this salon. They obviously don't know what they are doing. I have been lightening/darkening/highlighting my dark brown hair for 12 years. I've not had my natural color in that long. I've been to 4 different salons in my 12 years, and have had a few hair "issues". They've always been fixed, and usually it's just because we were going for a color that just wasn't a great idea for someone with dark brown hair. Regardless, they were always fixed to my satisfaction, and twice before I left the salon, twice I had to come back because I didn't decide I hated it until later.

I'd hound them nonstop until they refund your money, then take it and go elsewhere...ridiculous.

A this point I don't really see how she wouldn't. They're acting so unprofessionally it's not even funny!! I fumed all night thinking about what they were doing (even called both my Mom & sister to complain that I couldn't do anything to help you! lol)

I can't believe they are treating you like this! I would serisously threaten to slam their salon everywhere- just as Alyssa recommended. You know- good recommendations are what keeps the business coming to salons. Who wants to go to a salon where they turn people's hair orange and then just say "Sorry- customer did it." That's unheard of!

Actually no... All I told her was I thought about it over the night and I would like a complete refund for EVERYTHING. She kept trying to convince me to come in and I kept telling her no and that did not feel comfortable stepping foot in there salon let alone have someone touch my hair again. So she said she can refund me. I am having my FMIL call and give her the CC she paid with so hopefully it will all be resolved..... Phewwww!!!

What a mess!

Thanks for all your advice girls... couldnt have fired back with could answeres if it werent for you!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
