I haven't looked it up but this is my educated guess:

M___r....
M___rs...
M___s...
M___iss....

This way people can fill out the rest of their salutation before their name.

PS. Even when people fill out their names, it's not always legible! The UV pen is a great idea.

  • 1 year later...

M is the beginning of the salutation its true...and is traditional to put, and looks (I guess) classier than Name: but if people are going to be so dumb, maybe I need to go with Name: since mine are postcards and there isn't a spot for return addresses! Thanks for the tips everyone.

Okay...I thought some of my guests were idiots. We have them responding to both the DW and AHR, and I did not think it was hard:

Please respond by May 29, 2009

Wedding at Riu Montego Bay on June 19, 2009

M___________

_____ Will attend

_____ Unable to attend

Celebration at Columbia Station on July 25, 2009

M___________

_____ Will attend

_____ Unable to attend

I didn't think this would be difficult. Well, was I wrong - people are saying that they are coming to Jamaica and not the AHR, when it is the opposite. I have people filling out only half of the RSVP (DW or AHR) and they did not realize they had to fill out the rest of it. The best was a good friend who wrote his name under Jamaica but checked able to attend under the AHR.

BUT...at least they have all put thier names on it. Actually, the funniest part is it is mostly my FI's friends and family.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
