Maybe my cat knocked it off, ?? maybe she ate something outside in the yard, I have no idea. We will see, I'll keep u informed. When my old dog used to have them, the vet told us it was good to let them hear your voice to comfort them but not to get too close to their face, b/c sometimes they might snap at you, not being mean but just a scared reaction, and if they get ahold of you, the jaw can locked due to the seizure :o( So keep that in mind if it ever happens to any of you. Ted grabbed my hand one time and my hand was black and blue and SO swollen!
yikes - i hope sheeba feels better!
i read on a (cat message board) about a woman whose 2 dogs both had seizures the same day. she said that she was really concerned when the 1st had it, but after the 2nd, she realized that it must have been something the dogs got into outside. she combed her yard twice, and on the third time, found part of an empty dishwashing detergent box. she said it was only a tiny corner of the box and wasn't even the kind she used.
anyway, my advice is to comb your yard and keep an eye out.

on a semi-related, happier note, how are shiba inus? we were going to get one before the cats, but heard (and read) that they have a tendency to be a little destructive when left alone (so instead, we got cats who think they're dogs). at the time we were in a townhouse, but now we have a house and a yard..

I will look over the yard, thank you! And I didn't have Sheeba as a puppy, it was Joe's dog before we met. Joe told me some crazy stories, she was a wild one! He came home one day and said the entire upstaires was coverend in paper towels she got a hold of, blue ink all over b/c she got a hold of a pen. But keep in mind that Joe lived with a bunch of guys who prob didnt .."train" her I guess properly. I dont know that for a fact, but I just saying. She probably wasnt on a schedule and ya knwo what Im saying?? hhaha She used to chew everythingggg, and very hyper he said. I guess most puppies are like that though. Now though, she is a very good dog. She is very smart!!, vert attentive, listens very well, loves going out for walks and running, etc. Shes great. A friend of Joe's just got a Shiba Inu and he's about 5 months and said he is good. I will shoot an email to the girl who just got one and see what she says. LOL I will let you know!

OH and I meant to write that our dog, Sheeba, went to the vet today. They gave her shots ect ad said she seems to be healthy and to keep an eye on her. It could have been the start of soemthing, or just a one time thing. If it happens again, we have to take her stool i and they will take blood etc. So we shall see.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
