Standing with one foot in front of the other is slimming too. I have a friend who always does that when we pose for pictures. In the words of Tyra Banks "elongate your neck." I always have to remember that for pictures or I have a double chin. Also, I think a longer necklace will be flattering. maybe something in a Y shape.

Oh Denise, you silly girl!!!! You look fantastic! And I LOOOOOVE your dress!!!

Don't get higher heels unless you're used to them. The ones you were wearing looked great, and higher might make your feet sore.

I agree, a longer neckace, particularly a Y will be more slimming than a choker style.

But seriously, you look GREAT!

even if you dont find a nice y shaped necklace, just something longer will be flattering. You will look great!

glad we didn't confuse you too much by saying to stand like an S & wear a y necklace. You might get nervous the day of & stand like a Y.

I am a little late to this party, but that is a great dress! I think you are doing so many great things there:

You have an empire waist which makes the dress fall very nicely on you and it's very flattering! you have a nice flowing fabric that does not creat any bulk and looks very airy. and the color is great! I agree with the longer necklace (not a "y" shape) that will help create a longer line.

And let's not talk about the fact that you have paired it with the perfect sandal already- something that is strapless and makes your legs look even longer! I think you have a winner here - everything looks fabulous!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
