Exactly right! It comes back as fast as it goes away. If you seriously alter your diet to healthy, natural foods you can keep some of it off but most weight comes back.

I gotta say that I've been following TLC's Paul McKena "I Can Make You Thin" amazing! But Tim does these cleanses all the time. He's convinced that they work. All they do it make him camp out at the toilet for a few days... I'm sure that they do work though it's always nice to detox your body every once in a while.

We are trying that too, not the camping thing, but the TLC thing. Have you noticed any difference? I had been doing pretty well but bombed yesterday at my shower.

I have done it as a cleanse for 11 days and lost 14 pounds. You do gain some of the weight back but not all of it. I did it for the cleansing aspect and it is fantastic. It changes your body shape and metabolism. I got rid of an newly developed alcohol allegery because of the cleanse. You do not eat but are not hungry because you are getting the minerals and vitamins from the syrup. The only problem I had was the psychological desire to chew on something but that passes.

I only caught one episode but what he says really makes sense. The biggest thing I got was to slow down your eating so you actually realize when you're hungry! He tells you that you should put your fork (or whatever else youre' eating with at the moment) down between bites & chew your food ALOT. Your body will have a better chance of registering that it's full before you have stuffed yourself silly. Only problem is in my life I don't really have time to spend 20 minutes eating something that could take me 5 normally! LOL
He also says to eat whenever you're hungry. Which I like. Most people try to deprive themselves. But if you can be in tune with your body then you should know when you're hungry or not.

Back to the liquid diet. Please be careful in doing these!! They can be beneficial in the cleansing department (doing it short term) but I wouldn't do them for an exrended period of time!!

I have noticed a difference.....not on the scale yet but in my eating habits. I am definitely eating consciously, and counting my bites. I do however crash from time to time with the bingeing especially in the first couple weeks. But I noticed that in this last week I have been leaving more and more on my plate. Have you noticed the same? I know it's common sense but I can't believe how much sense it really makes to me. To be honest I feel like it was the break through that I needed. I've tried it all and this seems to be the one thing that fits me. I couldn't stand the "well you can't eat this or that" it made me want it more... But knowing that I can now control my portions and do it on my terms is great! I would suggest it to anyone!

I have been doing similar things and have noticed I eat less. I tried eating with my eyes closed and that was pretty odd :)
I think he says stuff that we all kind of know but he just explains it much better.

He definitely has a way of making it stick.... you feel so motivated and in charge... I just posted a thread on it. Since this is a thread on something else I thought it would be fair.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
