Hi Ladies,

 

We leave in 3 days- holy cow!!! Thanks so much to everyone for all of the inspiration, advice, and support over the past few months. Without it I would have been completely lost!

I have posted lots of pics along the way, but I thought I would leave in true BDW style and compile everything into one place, so here goes!

Gazebo decorations- I am so sorry i can't remember which member shared the instructions for how to do this, but you know who you are- THANKS!!! I have about 40 strands that will hang all the way around the gazebo

You did a lovely job on everything. And you look beautiful in your gown!

Have a wonderful and relaxing time. Remember to take it slow so that you will be able to recall all of the special moments.

Attachments: photo scavenger hunt list that will be in the OOT bags, and tags for petal toss. Rose petals will be in organza bags with these tags at each seat for the ceremony. Sorry I don't have a pic, I'm not putting these together until i get there.

Greeting & Opening prayer- Given by Minister

Blessing of the hands

Courtney, please face T.K. and hold his hands, palms up, so that you may see the gift that they are to you.

 

These are the hands that will passionately love you and cherish you through the years, for a lifetime of happiness. These are the hands that will countless times wipe the tears from your eyes; tears of sorrow and tears of joy. These are the hands that will comfort you in illness and hold you when fear or grief fills you. These are the hands that will give you support and celebrate with you in your accomplishments.

 

T.K., take a look at the position of your hands with Courtney’s and know that this is the last time that you will have the “upper hand.â€

 

T.K., please hold Courtney’s hands, palms up, so that you may see the gift that they are to you.

 

These are the hands of your best friend, smooth, young and carefree, as she promises to passionately love you and cherish you through the years, for a lifetime of happiness. These are the hands that will hold you tight as you struggle through difficult times. They are the hands that will comfort you when you are sick or console you when you are grieving. Engagement Ring

The engagement ring is a symbol of promise and intention. Now the intention is realized and the promise fulfilled. TK, please place the engagement ring on Courtney’s finger over her wedding band to symbolize that the love that brought you together will always protect and sustain your marriage.

 

Sand Ceremony

"Today, this relationship is symbolized through the pouring of these two individual containers of sand one, representing you Courtney and all that you were, all that you are, and all that you will ever be, and the other representing you, T.K., and all that you were and all that you are, and all that you will ever be. As these two containers of sand are poured into the third container, the individual containers of sand will no longer exist, but will be joined together as one. Just as these grains of sand can never be separated and poured again into the individual containers, so will your marriage be."

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
