Where is you friend from?   I am considering doing a free engagement season with her.

Other then that one of my friends that is already going has offered to be my photographer...     so either way I'm not worried.

Ah neat. I think she is already got it all planned out and is going to buy a few shots from the ceremony from the Sandals photographer then go off site to get better photos from the photographer she booked. I'm from Ohio though. I may consider getting her contact info from you down the road, thanks!

Well I was looking at Jamaica but I think DBF isn't so keen on it. So maybe T&C, SJVI, or any other islands out in the Bahamas but it just seems like there are so many options! I have to do some more reading on Trip Advisor but haven't found a whole lot of BDW brides in the islands as it seems like most people with oceanside DW go somewhere in Mexico or Jamaica.

Yes There is a group of us that keep in touch on here and I am the only one going to St. Lucia... everyone else is Jamaica, Mexico, or DR I think....   Except tyrebride2b2013  she is going to Beaches on T&C.   If you look up the thread 'any other 2014 brides getting a start' or something to that effect she post on there all the time.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
