I got my barefoot sandals off of eBay, I can't remember the seller though. They have tons on there. I did not get the matching anklet that is shown here..

As for the Just Married flip flops, I found a really cute pair, but they're from a company in the UK. Not sure how long shipping will be and if it's worth the cost. I can't find them in the US. So frustrating!

hey ladies,

Kristy, where did you get your barefoot sandals? I was planning on just going barefoot and buy some cute heels for my reception. I have two months and a fews days to go and no shoes or garter myself. I saw a garter online I will buy. I only saw the plastic "Jut married flip flops too, I haven't seen any nice ones. If I happen to find one, I will post and let you know. If you happen to find one too , do you mind letting me know where you bought them, because I still haven't found a nice one I love yet.

Almost there ladies..... thanks for sharing...

Kristy, are you nervous yet??

Nah, I'm not nervous. I was having some minor freak-outs a few weeks ago since I was missing so many essentials, but now the I just need a few more things, it's no big deal. Most of the other things on my to-do list are things that will be nice touches, but if they don't get done, no one will know except FI and me. I've been pretty laid back this whole time and plan to keep that way. Just enjoy the ride!

That's cool... I know I will probably starting freaking out a few the month before. I pretty much have everything I need well except for my shoes and garter.. Veil and earrings I have...

Thanks. It's a few years old. We have almost no pictures of us, so I'm happy that will change soon.

Are you girls going into this with exact images of what you want for your cake, flowers, etc? I don't know why, but I'm kind of like, whatever they give me is fine. I mean I know that I would like certain colors, but I don't have any pictures to show or anything. I should probably start thinking about how I want my hair done. Hmmm...

Hello everyone,

I'm a newbie who's planning my wedding in St. Lucia for May 2010. My fiance is from St. Lucia and we got engaged in Marigot Bay last year. I'm still working out ther locations for the ceremony and reception. Villa Capri seems like it would be a good location for my family to stay. Kristy, i'm looking forward to reading your review! We're trying to keep prices down where possible.

So far this thread had been very helpful. I'll keep you informed on any news!

Thanks,

Mimi

Hi Mimi! Welcome to our little group of St. Lucia bride! We're so excited for you!

i have thoroughly enjoyed working with Kris at Villa Capri and am super excited to meet her in person soon! She manages several villas now, but I'm not sure if she just does weddings through Villa Capri. Check out Villa vacations rentals , St. Lucia, Caribbean for info on the other villas. We have also rented out Villa Bliss.

I now have less than one month! So excited! I will be away on my honeymoon until June 5th and then I have my AHR on June 13th, so I will try to get my review posted by the end of the June.

Right now I'm reseraching canopy tours. Yeah zipline! I know, I should probably be concentrating on weddig stuff, but this is more fun than typing up my programs. I'm such a bad bride!

I had my last fitting last night and my shower and bachelorette parties are this weekend. It all seems so real now! Woo hoo!

Thanks for the welcome! The zipline will be amazing. I wanted to do it last time through the forest reserve but my FH wasn't up for it. We did the basket ride instead. Still beautiful.

Don't worry. I'm sure you'll get everything together in time. And you'll be married in paradise, so no matter what your day will be perfect!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
