Christine you may have to slowly introduce your pup to it. Like just turn it on when him close to you, don't touch him and give him treats. Do this for a few times and then use in on his nails, but only a little at first. I know the noice freaks out some dogs but if you make it into a good treat time, they are more willing to let you file away. Just wanted to give you a heads up.

thanks, I just hate trimming them because they freak out, we have watched all the dog whisperers shows about nail trimming, we massage them, we give them treats and they still act like they are in a torture chamber

we are afraid to get banned from petsmart or petco because they said he bit them once, and we need petsmart for the petshotel when we go out of town.

If you are really that worried muzzle them and then do it, we have to muzzle the spaniel when he goes to the vets cause he acts like a wuss and doesn't like to be proded lol he is an ex army dog so I think he's had enough of that so I let him off but muzzle him lol

I saw the commercial for the Peticure and contemplated buying. But, my doggies normally get it done at the groomers or on their vet visit. I'm too scared to do it myself. I don't want them mad at me!!
