Peticure?

has anyone seen the commercial for this...Peticure dog grooming supplies, dog nail clippers, dog nail care, peticure pamper your pet

my dogs seriously hate getting their nails trimmed and not only do their nails hurt me, but I can only imagine that I need to keep their nails as short as possible with a baby around.

Anyway, just curious if anyone has thoughts on this.

Honestly it sounds like a crap shoot to me. It could be the best device ever made or it could be complete crap.

It was so hard to clip my old dogs nails I could only have the vet do it because she would literally shake and fidget and not let me do it at all. So I think its worth the money to see if it works. If it doesnt than you can always return it right away.

well our big issue, is that our boy really hates it and the people at Petco said he bit the groomer once, so we try to avoid other people doing it, he kicks so much that I am afraid he is going to kick me or the baby. Maybe I will ask my vet next time I go in.

Christine, asking your vet may be the way to go. My mom has a super high strung black lab. She HATES having her nails cut, so my mom has to take her to her vet for this. Sometimes the techs can do it and she's not too bad. But sometimes they actually have to sedate her to cut her nails...it's quick though, and probably a lot safer for the tech and the dog.

Our dog doesn't care to have her nails done either..my FI has a strange way of getting her to sit still. He takes a newspaper flyer, folds it, and just sits it next to her -- she still doesn't like her nails cut and will all but sit on my lap while he's cutting (all 65 pounds of her..ha!), but at least she doesn't run away. Funny thing is, she's NEVER been hit with anything in her life, much less a newspaper flyer. She's a silly girl!!

Can you find this at a normal pet supply store like Petco? I once clipped my poor little doggies nails to short and one bled. I'm terrified to do it now and she's scared too.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
