It's been just over one month since I started mny new job as a Wine Rep for a nationwide distributor.

Well, yesterday I found out that I have earned an incentive trip to Sonoma and Napa Valley!!!!! smile159.gif

OMG!!!! I can't even believe it!!!!smile29.gif

Only a month into this job and I've earned a TRIP!?!?!? Well, no doubt I LOVE my job ... although it has taken a lot of the needed time away from focusing on pre-wedding stuff. But it goes to show that the dedication I have put into the job in this first month has certainly paid off!!!

I never would have imagined this! In one month, sales to my accounts are up 33% over this month last year and cases of wine sold are 152 more than this month last year.

So, anyway -- my trip is from May 1-4 ... which means we return from our DR on Sunday, April 27 and I leave out for CA on Thursday, May 1. WOW!

Anyone live in the San Francisco area? I know I will be busy, busy during my trip ... but on Saturday night, I will be staying in San Francisco to catch a Sunday flight. So, if anyone is in the area, let me know!!!!

I am not sure yet, but the company sponsoring the trip is Majestic Fine Wines, which represents all of the Kendall Jackson vineyards and wineries as well as numerous others, including Cambria, Murphy-Goode, La Crema, Matanzas Creek, Legacy .... and I know it is a packed itinerary. I think we do like 10 wineries a day. Yeesh!

Hopefully I'll get a complete itinerary and can share it.

I remember your fabulous Napa wedding. Which winery was it?

we actually didn't get married at a winery, but did a wine tour the next day. We went to Franciscan, V. Sattui, Diamond Oaks, and Peju Province. All are on the main highway in Napa.

10 in one day, are you tasting at all of them...holy cow you all will be wasted, but that will be fun.

We did a private tour at V. Sattui and they took us in the back where everything is actually made and stored, very cool.

I would recommend trying to get a cave tour in somehow if you can. I have never done that but my aunt did one time and said it was amazing.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
