The version I have was $300. It's not cheap, but it's absolutely the best for doing fast layouts- pictures and text. It can't edit or do really fancy fade & layer stuff like Photoshop, but even though I have Photoshop I still use it for about 75% of my projects. I usually edit stuff in Photoshop and design in Lumapix Fotofusion. There are cheaper versions with less bells and whistles for like $100. You can also download a free trial...

good to know! thanks! i use photoshop a lot. i have the nicest full version available at work but sometimes i still feel like either i dont know enough about photoshop (which is probably the case) or that it doesnt have everything i want to do. i am going to have to check out fotofusion now!

Yeah, I just got CS3 and I love it, but I still go back to FotoFusion for lots of stuff because it's just faster and more user-friendly :)
