Good grief! My wedding is exactly one week away and I just found out one of my BMs dress is too small now and barely zips. I told her to go get some spanx and get on a liquid diet for the next 7 days! And it's not the kind of dress that can be let out b/c it's silk and bias-cut.

She should try just eating fruits and vegetables. No soda, just water and 100 % pure fruit juice. It will help alot.

When you say "can't zip it" is it just like the top inch or two of the zipper, or is it all the way down? Could she zip it up as high as it goes, pin it so the zipper doesn't slip, and tuck the loose corners in? Maybe a pashmina to cover up the back?

I would suggest to her to do something like south beach diet...cut out all carbs (rice, pasta, bread, sugar, fruits)...she can lose a significant amount in a week at least so she can get into her dress. whenever i do it, i lose a lot...but its hard to stick to. good luck

Hello, Beavis (her, not you)! Why didn't she tell you this sooner?!

Even if it zips, she may not lose enough to make it look good.

I hope she does something to lose it!

the dress zips up the side so it will be impossible to hide if its not zipped all the way. I haven't seen her in it since a few months ago- when it fit- but she says it will zip but its really really tight. I guess she gained weight in her boobs.... I bought the dresses last summer from Max and Cleo so there's no way I'll find her another one before I leave on Wednesday. Its just aggravating to find this out a few days before I leave!

Reduction bra. They sell them in specialty stores. Or she can do what my drag friends do and bind those puppies up till she's flat.

Do they make strapless reduction bras?
