Many of you know that we foster dogs. Well Elsie has been with us for almost 7 months now, she was seized from a puppy mill and was in horrible condition when we got her. Well yesterday was finally not a bone chilling day and we decided to take her to the dog park for the very first time. Here are a couple of shots..

Elise might be going to her forever home on Sunday, I can't stop crying thinking about it, I'm going to miss her so much. Here is one last picture of her, I'm thinking about having it put on a t-shirt or something..

Look at those adorable eyes. Tammy you have such a big heart. Elsie is very fortunate to have such an angel in her life. I'm sure it helps knowing she is going to a loving family... and do you offer to babysit for the families if they go on vacation? That may be a good idea if you don't already.

I think the reason she is the hardest so far is because she's still timid around new people and the fact that she learned everything with us. I remember the first time we were playing in our house with a tennis ball with our boys, Elsie was so scared of the ball and would run from it, now to see her chasing after it, even grabbing it out from our boys mouth. I'm just going to be sad to see her go.. D@mn I shouldn't have posted this, now I'm tearing up again..

Tammy thank you for all that you do with animals! Did you hear that Operah is now only going to get her future animals from shelters and is doing a show on the horrible things that happen at puppy mills! i am so glad this is going to get some press time from someone who people really valve her opinion...hopefully All puppy mills will get SHUT DOWN!

Yeah in fact I have my DVR set to record Oprah today. I really hope they are able to put the word out and stop this crap. Most people don't realize that buying a dog from a pet store is actually supporting puppy mills because that is where they get their dogs.

Tammy you should be on that show! I wonder if we can help some way? Is there any petitions out there or any way BDW members can help?

I just love what you're doing and I want to be able to contribute some how.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
