Restaurant Reccomendation?

Recommended Posts

I would have to say Prime in the Bellagio is one of the best Steakhouses I have been to. We've eaten there a few times, most recently in December and the food and experience are really one of a kind. If you go, be sure to request a seat near the window so that you get a good view of the fountains.

N9ne in the Palms is good also. We stayed at the Palms a few weeks ago and had dinner there. The meal was good, but the atmosphere was more um... urban? Clubby? Not sure how to describe it, but not as much of a fine dining experience. That's not to say that the food wasn't fantastic. You have to try the S'mores and lobster mashed potatoes. Yum!

We've also eaten at Emeril's Delmonico in the Venetian, and had dinner at the DB Brasserie in the Wynn on our last trip, but I still say Prime is the way to go (I think it received a 28 for food from Zagat)

Have fun!

My finace and all his guys friends LOVE DelFrisco's steakhouse. I think it's a little off the strip but not far
I thought about that...but we have one here in Dallas. So I'm thinking maybe somewhere he hasn't been before?

I've been looking at N9ne since someone metioned it... glad to hear that it's yummy! And personally, I'm sold on the lobster mashed potatoes - it's like my two favorites foods together! lol! yum!

But I'll definitely look into Prime also...that sounds really nice and I'm sure we'll want to see the Bellagio fountains at night anyway etc. So that may be the way to go.

Thanks for all the suggestions ladies!!! :-)

i just went to benehanas at the vegas hilton...OMG, i cant wait to hit up the one in phoenix now! the chicken fried rice with the sauces they give you, dumped on it is soooooooo amazing. of course the steak and lobster, all that is super! and its fun because they make it all on the grill at your table while doing crazy tricks:)

Tao was awesome too! not sure if they have steak though but the spicy tuna rolls and wasabi covered dry peas were addicting. cant wait to go back...for all that food!

N9NE and Ghostbar (at the Palms) also are in Chicago. I was actually going to take a client there tonight, but they are booked. The food is OUTSTANDING at least at the Chicago location, and I love the decor. Its all white, and dim, and modern.

Bouchon is another option, at the Venetian.

My recommendations:

1. Delmonicos (Emeril's restaurant at Venetian)

2. Prime (Wynn)

3. N9ne (Palms- great food and bonus for fun and different atmosphere)

4. Joes Stone Crab (Ceasars- also really good sea food! this is our fav place to go because he gets a great steak and i get fantasic fish!)

Also, Del Friscos was an excellent choice and is a short distance off strip...as a local this is the steak house we frequent most! Lots of good choices...you really can not go wrong!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
