I love the idea of getting cute white sunglasses. I think I'm going to pick up a cheapy pair for a "just in case" moment. Plus, our wedding is at 1 pm, so I'm sure that at some point - just before ceremony, just after, and while waiting to do pictures and go to the reception that I'll want to be wearing something!

I have been having heck trying to find white sunglasses. They are nearly non-existent and the ones that are out there are humungus on me. I don't like the big sunglasses and would prefer something smaller and more like what I normally wear. I did find some cute Fossil glasses that were black and had rhinstone like jewls on the side. Hopefully you guys have more luck finding white glasses.

I am really dependent on sunglasses and hadn't even thought of this before! AH! Our ceremony is at 5p.m., when the sun is setting some and the heat factor is a bit down so I am hoping the sun won't be out full-fledged.

Is your ceremony early?

Mel,

I don't think it was that bright at LC by 6pm. My FI has to wear sunglasses too- even at the dentist which I think is super silly. He didn't squint at all. You will find it's not that bright at all- it's nearly sunset by that time after all. It has that pre-sunset light which is really soft.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
