LMAO Yes - I am always like this when I get there: smile123.gif And he's just content to sit on the bed and flip on the tube.... wtf.gif

Men! Geesh. I know I run around and check out everything. LIke "look honey- in this drawer here they provided free pens for writing notes down." Or "over here they have an iron and ohhhh- I found the mini fridge."

At the Rio in Vegas during our last trip I was checking out all the goodies in this "mini fridge" that had all kinds of items. I picked up "Pleasure Pack" just to see what was in it- haha and I heard a click. I was like crap, now the front desk thinks I'm a total perv and charged me $15 for a condom, some lube and a blindfold. I made Steve tell them that we didn't use it so don't charge us. haha

Oops, I need to add a correction - we do NOT have pics of the "Honeymoon Suite". Honestly we did not like it as much as the others. We liked our "Regular Room" better due to the layout. The Honeymoon Suite is very wide but not deep. The layout made the room feel pretty cramped, in our opinion. It does have a hot tub out on the balcony though! My Dad has stayed in it before and he liked it so I guess to each their own!!! :)

While we're on the subject of room categories - the Presidential Suite is (OF COURSE!) AWESOME!!!!! If I could afford to I would LOVE to stay there on our wedding night - doubt that though... unless we end up winning the PowerBall Lottery! hahaha

Hi JaimeLynne,

My FI and I are planning on booking at the Westin. The rooms online look beautiful but I have a feeling ALL of the rooms are not that modernized and updated.

We are booking the Royal Club Level for the free breakfast and cocktail hour. Thanks for posting the pics of the Royal Club Room! Did you notice if you went to breakfast late things were scarce or did they replenish frequently?

Do you still have more pics of the rooms at the hotel? I realize you posted this back in April so I understand if you don't.

I'm sooooo excited about finally booking our stay that I keep wanting to see more and more! Hehe :)

Hi beach_knot -

Your post was from a bit ago, but I was wondering about the Westin. I tried to e-mail them about our wedding next year (and our site visit which is now next week!!!) and never heard anything back. I don't know if they are busy, if they are booked next November, or if they're just slow. Did they get back to you quickly or not? Hotels that don't respond drive me loco!!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
