thanks for the info. A friend of a friend suggested the same band. I didn't have their contact info though. I just finished emailing them to see if they're available. Thanks a ton!

Is it $300 per person (in stuff you can bring in)?

The hotel just charged a corkage fee for each bottle served. You can also get alcohol at Costco and return.
Thanks for all the reviews! Could you please provide more info. about La Europea? That sounds great! I looked online and couldn't find any info. We are getting married at the Hilton in Cancun and also considering doing corkage. Thanks!

hi! i don't have the contact info for la europea, but your wedding coordinator should. i is a huge liquor sore with discount prices so most peple in cancun know about it i think. ask some other vendors if your wedding coordinator doesn't know.

This post is so helpful!!! I have been particularly worried about getting a band in Mexico that I've never heard of, so we were thinking of going with a DJ instead. But I would love a live band if it's a good one!! Did they play CDs on their breaks?

Thanks again! I met Josefina at Casa Magna on our site visit and she was WONDERFUL!

IndyPitty - I'm getting married at the Hilton too! We'll have to stay in contact!

i'm glad my review is helpful! the band did play cd's during their break and they did a great job mc'ing the party...cutting of th cake, toasts, et. i got lots of comments on how great they were. they have a good website too so check it out. i would definately do them over a dj if it s in your budget. they have a huge songlist! i met with the main guy a few days before the wedding to go over the specifics. good luck!

                    #20 can't wait!

Glad to hear not only one vendor was great BUT ALL OF THEM! That really is unheard of.
I just logged on to the bands website and am impressed. They have such a long list of music!! Can u tell me how much they are? We were planning on going with a DJ but this band is good.
