What plates did you register for?

Recommended Posts

Lenox Solitaire. Simple and classic -- and it was my parents china .. so they will be passing theirs down to me once they get moved in to their retirement home at the beach. They have almost a full set and we have already gotten about 8 place settings as shower or wedding gifts.

I didn't register for china, only for everyday dinner plates. It is the Sango Nova Blue set at BB&B. I LOVE it!!! I got all of my sets, the completer set, the hostess set, salad plates, canisters, mixing bowls, etc. I'm addicted...now I found an ebay seller that sells the pattern and am considering ordering more stuff.

Here is our daily wear that we registered for all from BBB...

This is the exact set that we are going to register for. I just saw it over the weekend at BBB and the paisleys stopped me dead in my tracks! I adore paisley. My FI took one look at it, looked at me and just sighed. He knows I love these plates almost as much as I love him. I think we are going to get the natural and gold color ones to go with the paisley. I love the blue color but it won't match our dining room.

Do you think it will be around for the next 7 or 8 months? I don't want to miss out on the paisley.

Carrie - I am not sure, I don't know how long patterns stay around. But I will say that we registered probably in September-ish. If you are really concerned, I would email or contact BBB and see what they say.

Picking the colors that we wanted was SO hard for me!!! I was tempted to get all the colors, but it wouldn't evenly work out. I realllllllly loved the gold colored one, but Matt didn't. So I gave him that one. Gotta let'em win sometimes.

Wow, very nice plates ladies!

Here is the Mikasa Swirl plates I was talking about. I LOVED Denby but its just as expensive as china, maybe even more. I just hope I don't get bored of it but I guess I can jazz it up with placemat's, napkins and napkin rings. Worse case scenario, I can return it if I find something else.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
