Plantation Tables - Help Past ROR Brides

Are the tables really laid out like this? I'm trying to do my seating chart and i'm having a hard time because certain people will complain being so far away from the bride and groom's table........for example, if i put my parents at table 1 (table closest to the front), then FI's parents will be "Behind" my parents........is there any other way to arrange the tables?

Here is another way to have it set up. I have also seen a picture of the tables angled along the sides of the restaurant witht he middle open for dancing, I will post it if I can find it. I don't know how many guests you are having so the table set up will differ but I hope this helps a little.
