Wow! You are so creative and cute. I love the celebrity style magazine. I want to start doing things like this but I haven;t even settled on a site yet. I am definitely going to keep this thread in mind. I can't believe I wasted so much money on bridal magazines when then ideas here are so much better. Honestly the bridal magazines were pretty worthless. However I had to by them when I initially got engaged. Your guests are luck to have such a great hostess.

I was just at Target last night and in the $1 bargain area they have ADORABLE bags for $2.50. They are woven straw about 16" long by 4" wide and 12" tall. They have blue polka dot fabric on the inside. I was So bummed that I'm not engaged! I would have bought them all!!!

So far I have beer koozies, chapstick, after-sun care, tylenol and immodium. We're also going to create a welcome letter and day of timeline. Matt says "no" to bringing squirt guns, but maybe I'll find frisbees or something. We're also working on maybe having hand painted shotglasses.

Hijack- Angela- I ordered the same design on my Koozies! Mine are blue and the collapsible kind though. It's nice to see the actual design! Hopefully mine will get here pretty soon!

Thanks for sharing about the bags- love those!! What was the turn-around time for them?

Here's a pic of my bag and stuff. The pic is missing the CD that we made and the advil packets. Other stuff in the pics include flip flops for the guys and the girls, a deck of cards, 2 koozies, 2 bottles of water with our custom labels, a beach ball, a bottle opener, 2 travel candles, a small package of tissues and a couple of games for the kids. We'll also be added a couple of beers in each and snacks, which we'll buy in Cabo.

I tried to do the iron on transfers, but I didn't like the line around the design, so I made a pocket instead. I still have to make the tags for the bags and the welcome letters.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
