Le Blanc Spa resort - Cancun ??

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone,

Am currently organising my wedding, we are getting married in Dreams Cancun in July 2009 and am looking for somewhere in Cancun to have a week's honemoon after the wedding, just the two of us to relax and get pampered.

Has anyone been to or heard about Le Blanc Spa resort in Cancun? Have been looking at it as it is adults only and it looks lovely!!

Any advice would be good

Hi thats soo freaky! We are from scotland too! We are getting married at Moon palace then moving on to Le Blanc for the 2nd week! Cannot wait! Le Blanc looks world class! check out reviews on trip advisor as their website isn't the best for photos and things, though it does state all the awards they have won!! We were originally going to get married there, but being an adult only cause problems! Then we looked at moon palace and seen there is a major price difference between le blanc and anywhere else, so glad we are doing the twin centres!

Hopefully someone will have a review on le blanc!?

Thanks for the replies!!

That is weird you have chosen the same place!! We actually looked at the Moon Palace too but eventually decided on Dreams Cancun because of it's location!

I really wanted the wedding at Le Blanc, it just looks soooo good but again we have a few children coming so have to cater for them too! Have checked the prices with the travel agent for Le Blanc, it is pretty expensive but we think it will be worth it cause it looks fantastic!!

When are you getting married??

Hi!

Let me say that I LOVE Le Blanc!!! My fiance' and I took our first vacation together and stayed there. We had a great time. Its a great property. Very much for couples. Rooms are very, clean, trendy, and modern!! Even though its an all-inclusive, the food is really good!!

We considered even getting married there, but we thought the price point for our guests was too high.

ooh thats good to hear! what was the food like? i know there are only a few restaurants...and you have to dress formal for them....we don't mind that, we just want a relaxing 2nd week of the holiday! But we are both really fussy eaters! We've agreed if we don't like the restaurants we will just get room service each night!lol

LCLivingston - we aren't getting married until may 2010 - so can't actually book it til this time next year! however we got the message in a bottle invites from hanson and ellis to suprise people about it! they went down a treat, and have all the info on them!

Originally we were set to get married at le blanc, and the only reason we started looking elsewhere is because there were under 18's wanting to come. I'm soo glad we have, because the wedding package at moon palace is alot better than the one at le blanc, and alot cheaper too! But so are is the accommodation - which means more people can stay at the same hotel as us! Brilliant!

When are you getting married?

We are getting married in July 2009 at Dreams Cancun (don't have a set date as yet) then we are going to Le Blanc for a week after. In all we are actually staying for 3 weeks will cost us a fortune but will be worth it I hope!

We have kids coming too so that's why we didn't go for Le Blanc but think it would be way to expensive anyway!! Think we will probably have about 40 guests coming with us, some staying in the same hotel as us, some not.

I'll keep you posted then about what we book etc we haven't actually booked the whole thing through the travel agents yet, they said the earliest we can get it booked is the middle of this month!!

Yeah we were on holiday over christmas just there, and asked the consultant when we were changing our euros back to gbp about booking up for 2010 - unfortunately we can't book anything til round about this time next year! Kinda gutted, but gives us time (in theory) to get our finances in order and start saving hard!

Oooh your soo lucky your's is next year, not long really! Can't wait to hear your review and see your pictures!!

Think we are going to have around 55-60 guests, who will all be staying at Moon Palace, which i'm really excited about!

We did consider staying for 2 weeks at le blanc too, but decided we wanted to have a party as quick as we could back here!

I'm soo happy i've found this forum now, haven't managed to find anyone going to le blanc before now!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
