ROR Caprice Package

Has anyone had the Caprice Wedding package? I would like to know if it is worth the money? It seems to have a lot of things included. But I would like more details on the decorations included? I see many of the brides on here have went with the free package then added things they wanted.

I was also excited about the room upgrade, but I was told there are only 6 of the junior suites so I just paid for the upgrade so that it is a guarantee. It only cost an extra $90?

We did the math...I can't tell you exactly what that is now, but we saved a ton of cash with the free wedding...we even hired an outside florist and saved (I wouldn't recommend an outside florist...tia flora does a very good job).

We had 30 people and went with the free wedding (we had reserved the royal and changed it once we got down there). We still got the gazebo, chairs, champaign toast (enough for everybody)with punch for the kids, free wedding dinner at mammees with menus and servers (no buffet) beautifully set up and decorated,wedding cake, rehearsal, rehearsal dinner, & breakfast in bed the next morning. We would have also gotten some of our flowers for free with upgrades etc. which I wish we had done.

We paid for the Minister, Steel Drum Band, the Disco(with dj) and the florist. I think that's it. Total (without flowers) @ $850 us.

Wow! That is amazing! The caprice package is pretty pricey, so if I can get all the stuff I want without paying that much, I will do the free wedding. But it is good to know I can change it once I get down there. Thanks!

Your welcome...agian, I don't know how much more the flowers would have cost us (we paid $700 with the outside florist), but I'm pretty sure that the upgrades would have cost us about half of that (we only had one bridesmaid and 2 groomsmen).

Hi there, I too would LOVE for someone , anyone , to show me pics of the Caprice Wedding Package .

I have it booked for the Riu Palace Mexico , and obviously for that kind of money , am expecting some great things . I have approx. 60 people coming . I will be also oredering extra Champagne ( The package only has 3 bottles ) and extra cake ( again only enough for 15 People ) . I am thinking quite heavily about renting out the Disco , so that we can have the traditional dances ( Father-Daughter, Groom & Mother , Bride & Groom , etc. )

I will also be ordering the Hors D'Ouvres . The idea being that we will have a champagne and Hors D'uvres after the ceremony , stand around , take pics, celebrate and watch the sun set , ALL before going in for the sit down dinner/reception .

 

I am dying to hear what 'type' of Hors D'ouvres I can choose from, what the food will be , obviously what the decorations look like etc et c. So if anyone has pics or info , please please please , I will love you forever for your help ; )
