No one should feel scared to post their ideas or opinions, the purpose of this message was not to censore people. We want to hear opinions. I'm sure you all know that I'm referring to situations where someone is being blatantly rude.

No one panic and start editing their posts, this didn't happen, I just wanted to remind everyone of how great we are as a forum. We want to be able to be honest with each other, everything out of our mouths doesn't have to be soft and fuzzy but we do still have to be considerate of other people's feelings.

And regarding the hot pink sash...LOL. It looks great. I should have been more clear in my post. I didn't mean that telling someone that their sash doesn't look good is constructive criticism. I meant moreso if you had asked "Does my highlighter yellow dress match with the hot pink sash?" and people gave you their honest opinions and told you that they liked it better w/o the hot pink sash. Your dress however looked fabulous with the hot pink sash! hug2.gif

Thank you! Like I said before it was just so funny that you said that and I had my pink sash out in full force! I don't know what I would do without this forum!

IMO I would never have my wedding at the X Resort, they do 78 weddings before noon. My wedding will be unique since it's not at a wedding factory like the X. Plus the food is bad and once I saw seaweed in the ocean. I would never ask my guests to travel to a place like that. No offense, just my opinion :o) (LOL)
Exactly! Usually if something starts with "no offense, but..." there is a good chance it's offensive.

The stuff in between the "no offense" and "that's just my opinion" still needs to be respectful.

Or you need a really good smiley to make it alright friday.gif

Thank you for posting! I loved the comment about wedding factories, LOL, I believe the one we've chosen might be considered one of them huh.gif by some.

It's so true, we all have different tastes, budgets and you may never know what the reasons are behind a choice someone makes. I know mine were multiple including having to have a place big enough to keep my two siblings apart for the majority of the week, family issues, gotta love them. I'd rather go get all my teeth pulled then have to choose a resort again.

I enjoy this forum so much, the ideas, the humour, the advice, the helpfulness of it members, it's organized...I could go on forever.

And BTW, I love hot pink....it rocks! cheer2.gif

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
