I'm from Canada and we travel all inclusive most often to Mexico and the Carribean. My friends that are coming air and land separately (from Europe and USA) are paying almost double what we are paying because they thought that this would be a cheaper way for them to go. My wedding is at the Iberostar Del Mar. There is also the Lindo and Maya on that property which are a bit more posh.

The quoted prices are a lot more than you will normally pay. Just to give you an idea we were quoted in Feb of 2007 $1590+$277 tax all inclusive to go for the second week of December 2007. We are actually paying only $1100+$277 for the same week. If you wait to book your tickets until a few months before the wedding you can save big $$$. As well, if you talk to your travel agent and your guests book through them you should get every 26th person free. Most people don't know about this so they never ask.
