Tami, I haven't been on as much lately with all the last minute researches and buying things. Just want to say I feel your pain/stress trying to finish up all these last minute details. At least I am taking my easy way out and just going to explain each item on the welcome letter so the guests know what to use them for. I do have to figure out how to get the hang tags made though.

But seriously, since last week my mind's full of wedding details every night when I am laying in bed so I have not been able to sleep well either. And with your new job/long hours and finance, I am sure you're more stressed out than me. But hey tell Tom that, in two weeks your money is his money and his money is your money, so you're doing all these DIY projects to save money for both of you!

We're going to get through this -- hug2.gif! I'll be toasting to you in Jamaica on 'our' wedding day elefant.gif

Tami don't stress everything will work out. And your wedding will be amazing, just like you planned. Its normal to get stressed out at this point in the game. But you've come so far, you just need to relax and know that everything is going to work itself out.

Thanks Sharon! Gosh, so hard to believe our BIG DAY will be here (for both of us!!!) in exactly 2 weeks!!!

Things are going better, but I had another meltdown today. I wish Tom would stay out of the house on weekends so I can focus. But he is traveling all week next week so I think that will allow me to get most everything else done -- so long as my friggin' slow-ass computer doesn't make me throw it against the wall.

Got my Pashmina tags printed today ... and am about to start on the Starfish Symbolism tags.

Uh-oh ... Tom is back home.

Ggggrrrr....

Tami - good to hear that you and Tom talked it out. It has to be a release to get that off of your chest! I can't believe 2 weeks. You have done an amazing job with all of your stuff.

It's the weekend - relax and get yourself caught up.

Tami- seriously try not to stress. As a bride that JUST finished it all, there really is no reason to stress. You don't even notice half of the things the wedding day anyways. You simply enjoy getting married and celebrating with the people you love. All the minor details go unnoticed. I worked last minute like no other to get the wedding programs done- on the wedding day, I didn't even see them, let alone know that people actually had them during the ceremony. I understand the need to want it all perfect but in all honesty, no one even notices the minor details.

My ceremony music got TOTALLY screwed up. I could hear them switching through like 4 songs to find my bridal entrance one. Some people didn't even notice- some did, but they said it wasn't that big of a deal. All I could do was laugh.

No worries girl. It will be so much fun and all this stress will seem silly in the end. At least it did for me.

Yeah, Tami. Two weeks to go! Don't get stress out over these minor details. You've worked long days during the week so relax and enjoy some time with Tom on the weekend especially since he'll be gone next week. Paul travels during the week so weekends are always full of activities. I can never get anything done over weekends, he's like my biggest demotivator to work on these DIY projects lol Just know that you're gonna have a great time in PR and all the guests will have a great vacation no matter what! So enjoy the last two weeks as a bachelorette... smile29.gif

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
