Its not exactly what I'm going for, but I figured out what products I needed and one of my BMs was with me, taking notes so she can replicate it in Jamaica, and she surprised me by buying all the products that the MAC girl used! elefant.gif
I love it!

I use their Studio Fix Foundation. But sometimes I use this Estee Lauder powder that I use a blush brush to go over my T-Zone afterwards. I like it because it looks like I have blush on but it evens everything out without waiting a couple minutes for the makeup to tone down. I also think my face gets shiny cause I always have the heat on in my office when I'm at work.

I'm with you there. I am just lazy. Today I have no makeup on whatsoever. Normally I wear mascara and lip gloss. My face gets shiny and I always worry that makeup will smear since i touch my face without thinking, so I just don't waer it. i am planning to take lessons at mac for the big day so i can do it myself.

BTW- twelve piece : the makeup looks great! I think the look is perfect and natural :)

I'm with you Nikki, I don't wear makeup everyday either, but want a natural look. I have problems with blotchy, oily skin, and very short lashes. I need some help in the application of eyeshadows and how to plump up the lashes without having to resort to wearing fake lashes. I AM TOTALLY LOST IN THAT ARENA!!!

You ladies look great in your make overs! I'm sold, I will also make a trip to the MAC counter for a makeover. I also did some research and found that there is a MAC counter in Cancun. I need to see how close they are to the hotel prior to our ceremony because I don't trust the people at the hotel spa.

Thanks for sharing and for the excellent tips!! Dee

Makeup is as simple as you want it ladies. And like anything, Practice Makes Perfect. I am a tomboy of all tomboys, but I love artsy stuff...and I started looking at applying makup as an art... The key is blending...you want everything to blend smoothly. I do this with my finger... If you have any questions I can try and answer them... I posted up some pics of makeup that I have done on myself, but if you want me to do a step by step, I can post that also...?

I definitely understand you on that note. I only wear mascara and chapstick or lipgloss. I have no idea what I am going to do for the big day. From what I heard I would definitely like to go with the mineral powder thing. So I guess I better start looking for the bare essentials and see if that works!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
