What do you think?
I think this is an awesome way to tell him!

We didn't set out to tell anyone that early but it's so hard to keep such a great secret and after seeing the heartbeat and our little bean, we felt much better.

I'll be 10 weeks tomorrow and we have our 2nd ultrasound on Thursday to reconfirm how far along I am. The size didn't match my last period but I know when I ovulated so the size/week made sense to us.

Sorry for the Hijack!hijacked.gif

I'm so excited about so many of us being so close.. it will be like a new baby each week come fall!
It is SOOOO hard!! DH wants to wait for week 12 but there's just no way I can wait that long. I think we will tell at week 10.....argh....still so long away!

Mo - I think your idea is great!!

see - I just don't get that (waiting to tell)! of course it's a personal decision, but ask him this ... WHY does he want to wait?

the answer is probably "in case something bad happens." well, wouldn't he want to talk about that with those same people? that's how i determined who to tell ... like any friend I see on a regular basis, and close family ... thse are the same people I'd want to talk to if i had had a miscarriage. i didn't tell work aquaintences and stuff, but i also wouldn't talk to them about a miscarriage. make any sense? lol that's how we aproached it anyway.

YES!!! "in case something happens", that's why he doesn't want to tell. WELL I have a secret. I had a girls night on Saturday - - and I told the girls there. I had too! I was the only one out of 6 that was not drinking.....they figured it out on their own. I didn't tell him that I told.
And yes, all of that makes perfect sense to me!! We will discuss it further after my 8 week apt., and hear the heart beat.

that's the other thing ... not that I am a lush, but i almost always have a beer or glass of wine when i am out. as soon as i didn't, people would know! lol also, everyone knew we were going to try to get prego soon ... so it wouldn't have been a surprise to anyone!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
