I am so happy for you! How exciting!!! Wow!

Why don't you head to Target and buy a baby bottle and a onesie and leave it for him in the bathroom or something with a note to daddy.

YAY!!! I'm so happy for you! I don't know much about pregnancy tests, but if you're worried it may not be right, maybe you should take another to be sure.

I'm sure Tim will be so excited to hear your news when he gets home from the game. How about getting him a "Congrats on being a dad" card or those chocolate "It's a Boy" or "It's a Girl" cigars. (I don't know, I'm lame!)

First off ... Congratulations Mo!!!!!!

I would say ypu should absolutely tell him tonight... I know I would not be able to keep it in...

I cannot think of anything creative other than go out and buy a little baby baseball cap and wrap it up and give it to him.

You need to make sure he doesn't think it's an April Fool's joke either.

Yaaaay!

Re: that the test might not be right - I think that due to the hormones that are in your body once pregnant, you can have a false negative, but not a false positive. SO CONGRATS!!!! I am so happy for you!!!! I am not really creative, but I know that no matter how you tell, your hubbie is going to be ecstatic!!!

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!! How exciting!

It's very rare to have a false positive ... so you're probably prego!! I know how you feel - I wasn't going to see my hubby until the next day (we were both of out town), and it was so hard not to tell him over the phone, but I wanted to tell him in person.

I called my sister, since I had to tell SOMEONE! And of course I told everyone here.

I also called my doctor to make the first appointment - she wanted to see my at 6 weeks (they determined that by asking the first day of my last period).

But we told everyone right away, we didn't subscribe to that "wait until the 2nd trimester" theory. The only reason you do that is in case something bad happens (like a miscarriage), then you have to tell people that. Well, a m/c isn't something to be ashamed of anymore, and it happens a lot - and I'd want to be able to talk to my friends and family about it if it did happen. So anyway, we pretty much told people as we saw them - I was telling people before I even saw the doctor for the first time.

Our close friends and family we told them in special ways. I told Paul by asking him what he was doing next July 16h ... of course he said he didn't know. THen I showed him the pregnancy test and said "You're going to become a daddy!"

You could run out and get a card, or just put the pregnancy test on his pillow or somewhere where he still see it. Or maybe buy a cute little onesie or bib that says "I love my daddy" or something that will give him the right idea.

Wow!! Congrats!! That's very exciting!!

I was just in your shoes this month. I was soooo freakin excited but was also not really believing it was true. I would not call him and tell him - definitely wait until he gets home. Maybe you can lay the test on the counter so he sees it when he gets home....I'm not really good at these things....maybe you can call him and tell him you have a surprise, so hurry home after the game.

Did you take a digital test??

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
