What’s the best comment you received on your RSVP cards?

Recommended Posts

FH and I are invited to a LOT of weddings this summer and Iâ€m running out of things to say on RSVP cards – all I can think of is the standard, Congratulations, weâ€re so happy for you, yadda, yadda.

So Iâ€m wondering, whatâ€s the best comment one of your guests wrote to you on your RSVP cards?

I'm confused, you mean if you do postcard reply cards and they fill in the left side on the back, like when you fill out a real postcard? Or like Sarah said, where they just jot something off to the side??

that is great. I'll have to start getting more creative with those reply cards.

Sorry, I just meant for regular non-DW weddings. When we get an invite in the mail, I fill out the yes/no part and our names but I always feel like I should write a little comment on the back of the card. So I was just wondering what cute comments you've gotten.

This was funny so I have to share...

This is how our cards were worded. The red is what a guy friend of ours filled in:

M___??______________

____1___Number to attend

Arriving in Puerto Vallarta on____a plane_______

Name of Hotel____the nude place________________

_____No______Regrets

Even without his name (he didn't know that the M was for Mr./Mrs. X) we knew it was him. He insisted on staying at a resort in PV with nude suntanning because he thought it would be cool. Nobody stayed there but him...haha

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
