Is this normal?

It sounds pretty normal to me. It's a huge change, plus I've always found that with anything I plan for such a long time and think about for months and months, when it finally is really close, there's that weird feeling of 'how can this be here already?'.

Jen I am so excited at how close you are getting. I think of it like Christmas in that you really want it here but once it gets so close you get anxious about whether or not you are going to like your gifts and if you are going to have to fake that you like them. Not sure how they relate but anyway.....:)

I guess what I am saying is this is the biggest build up you will have for one single event and your life will be a tiny bit different after. I am about a month away and getting antsy, not from not having stuff done but from the thought of the whole day being over.

HUGS!

I agree with the rest of the girls, what you're feeling is TOTALLY NORMAL!

Just make sure you really soak in these next few days prior to the wedding. It's all going to be over before you know it and it's such a rush! Good luck Jen!!! We'll miss you hug2.gif

Sounds very normal to me. I am not there yet but I'm sure I'll feel that way.

I guess one good thing is that we are doing the legal stuff at home just the two of us so it can help me relax the day of the actual ceremony by thinking "what the heck we are already married"

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
