i think they are great and your guests will love them! keep them!
I agree with this 100%!! If I were a guest I would love to receive one of those in the mail, it's clean and organized and would get me excited to book!

BUT, you have to be happy with what you send out and Morgan & Sarah have good ideas too.

I would definitely not pay $500 to get the other ones. Buy yourself something instead, or donate $100 to charity!

I'll help you out - think of how many hungry kids could eat instead of you having 2 sets of cool invites...nothing like a guilt trip to give perspective....hehe Good luck, they'll look great either way!

Yari- I like your invites I think that the spacing makes them different and unique. I wanted those same invites but my family said no due to cost. I also like the Mock-up by Sarah as well though. I think that you should do what makes you happy it is your day.

Could you add some sparkle to them to make them "pop" ?
Maybe a few sparkly beads or something?

Unique embellishments for wedding invitations

If I were you I would just look at what I could do to make them better. One option would be to replace the invite part and use the rest. The invite is the first thing people see and if it bugs you--try jazzing it up. ok now I am rambling. I am very willing to help you out, if you want to scan the invite and send it to me I can mock up some stuff for you.
Love your idea. I dont like the spacing either but I still like the invitation. I think you could add something sparkly! I would still use them because... well... honestly no one is going to keep them after the wedding is done and over but you and maybe your mother FMIL or close sibblings.

Yari,

i just caught up on this entire thread - my 1st reaction when i saw them was, hhmmm, i hear what she is saying about blah, my 2nd thought was that i really like the lettering and justification but just think it is missing a little something, like your names in a large script font, just something to pop out.

and that little tab on the front - i wish your names were in script there.

then i saw Morgan's suggestion and Sarah's image - i love it!

i agree with you - if you hate them, change them. if it is not going to break the bank to spend a couple hundred dollars - you should be happy with your invites.

maybe you can just change some of the cards so your cost will be kept to a minimum

Hi Yari:

I'm with Alyssa. I get what you're saying about them being just a little blah. And honestly the justify doesn't do anything for me.

I LOVE (love, love, love, love, love!!!) what Morgan and Sarah came up with. I say re-do the main page, and as Alyssa suggested change the tab on the front to match the script-y font. From there, they will be absolutely fantastic.

Wish I lived closer, because I'd totally be outside your front door with a glue stick and a bottle of wine waiting to help you get them done!!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
