Show off your shoes....

Just got my shoes on sale for my beach front ceremony. My wedding ceremony will be on the lawn infront of the ocean so I think this will work. I plan to take my wedding photos on the gulf course with the ocean in the background and if I need to walk down the beach I should be able to do so in these.

I am soooo excited. A little over three months until we say I do!!!

My wedding isn't on the beach, it will be on a balcony.  Here are my shoes.  They're a little too white compared to my dress, but I've decided I can live with it.  They're Aldo's Strozier.  As high as I can go without being uncomfortable, and they're very grippy on the bottom, love them.

I am sure this has been asked on this thread before but I can't find it...I am getting married at a gazebo so I want so wear a heel, nothing to crazy though since I want to wear it to the reception and not have sore feet.  My problem is that my wedding photos will be taken on the beach where I can't wear heels...my initial thought was go barefoot but now I am worried about the length of my dress, I can't have it hemmed for my shoes then go barefoot for pictures.  Now I am thinking maybe try to find some wedge sandals the same height to wear at the beach

Any thoughts from previous brides?

that's pretty much the concensus - either wedges or platform flip flops if you're concerned about the length when you're standing on the beach, though I don't know if it will be a huge deal. I am planning to change from 4" platform heels to barefoot on the beach for pictures and didn't think too much about it since the dress has a train and will be flowy regardless.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
