Show off your shoes....

Recommended Posts

I tried on the Maribelle shoes at David's bridal and they were surprisingly pretty comfortable. Granted, I was only in them for a few minutes though! For anyone looking for something a bit more casual, I found these in my search for shoes...they are from Dress Barn. I bought them because I think the starfish is just so cute and 'beachy' looking, even though I still need to try them on w/ my gown; however, I figured they would be cute to wear with any dress in Mexico:) They are sooo sooo sooo comfortable!!

I love the detail around the ankle! Nice choice!

Another good find from what I hear and have seen advertised is Shoedazzle. I think it's something around $40/mo for a pair of shoes that are selected by a personal stylist w/ free shipping. I haven't looked into the details but could be a good option! Here's a pic of my shoes that I wore for my reception (after barefoot jewels for the ceremony). I found these on Bluefly last year...another great site!

Thank you for sharing this important info Kelly. I've made my mind after reading your post. I am going with RSVP!

those are the ones I went with, but it took a couple tries to find a pair that didn't rub the top part of my foot:

But I used a glue gun, and that would not work for shoes.
I found this website called Crystals2Love and they have everything you need to rhinestone something. They sell individual swarovski crystals in all sizes and colors plus the specific kind of glue you need and these little sticks with wax on the end of them to pick up each little crystal and place it on whatever you're crystaling. They aren't bad priced either. If I end up liking my shoes I ordered, I'm going to start crystaling them right away b/c it will pry take me a year to finish them! Well worth it though! ; )

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
