Ok, I have two pairs of shoes that I am trying to decide between.

The first pair are JCrew Glitterati flats, and the second are Kate Spade Ivy Sandals. They are both comfortable, I just wasn't sure if the flats would drive me nuts on the beach (ceremony only is on the beach). Thoughts?

They're both great shoes, but if its opinions your looking for a prefer the ballet shoe. It would look especially pretty with a brooch attached to the toe or a satin bow, but that's just me :P

Hi everyone,
I've just started looking at shoes and found these which I love. They're Christian Louboutin Petal Sandal in pink. I love shoes, but have never prioritized the buying of them... I've seen these shoes for sale now for anywhere up to $900 (I nearly choked). I found a website http://www.redbottomshoeses.com/christian-louboutin-petal-sandals-pink-p-92.html that has them for sale for just over $100... has anyone heard anything about this website? Should I assume that it's too good to be true and that they're knock-offs? Any idea where I can get these for a realistic price? Thanks for any help!

My shoe dream...

Well, I found my dress...made the deposit & ordered it.  A few days later I started to doubt my dress decision and asked my dad (in heaven, my guardian angel) for guidance. Let me know whether you think it's the right one!  (Even though I cried when I had the dress on!)  Anyway, later that day as I was browsing wedding shoes on the internet.  I knew I wanted to wear a flat / little heal blinged/embellished  thong like sandal...since I am 5'10 & Bill, my FI is 6'1.  I came across these ballerina peep toe flats....I started to cry.  See, my father's sign to our family since we lost him 17+ years ago...is a butterfly.  Whenever we see one - it's when we seem to miss him or need him the most.  You can imagine my emotion when I found these.

Well, for a mere, $654.10 plus $42.00 shipping to the US I can own them for $696.10!  As beautiful as they are, I do not think I can justify the cost.  Although, seeing these made me realize Dad was telling me I picked the right dress.  I will find a way to incorporate Dad to my day, a butterfly somewhere...I so wish I could find knock offs of this shoe.  Fellow brides, please keep your eye out for me!  I have time....April 2013.  xoxo

Happy Planning!

elissae, J Crew actually has tons of leather ballerina flats and you may be able to find a butterfly embellishment like the one below at Michaels or another craft store.  Just an idea to keep in mind to lower the cost of your dream shoes!  Good luck!

Thanks for your input. I think overall I prefer the look of the flats as well. I guess having sand in my shoes is not a huge deal for 30 min. And it shouldn't be an issue during the reception.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
