Show off your shoes....

Recommended Posts

These are the shoes that I'm thinking about. I need to go into town and check them out...just need to wait until christmas is over and maybe it wont be so darn busy everywhere! I can't walk in heels if my life depended on it, and I'm not much shorter than my FI so wedges it is!!

they are beautiful! I have a blue pair of BM stilts - same height as these!  I am seriously considering getting the heel shortened... just to ensure I don't break an ankle during the few minutes I plan to wear them. Am also hoping that shortening them would allow me to wear them for more than just 2 minutes in pictures - maybe a whole 30 minute ceremony? hahaha

Here are some pics of the shoes I wore: wedges for the ceremony and the navy and lace heels for dancing. The close up images of the navy heels from the professional photographer in Jamaica are too large to upload, so here's one where you can kind of see them and one from one of our guests of all 3 pair.

Not difficult at all because the sand was pretty densely packed. My MOH wore wedges too:

We had a hard wood dance floor laid on the sand, so I was able to dance in stilettos.

Hey just curious, but does anyone know why certain of my shoe images are coming up and others aren't? At least not on my end...

Hey Tori - I got the navy heels from Nordstrom this past summer. I'm a size 4 so heels are pretty hard to come by.

Let me try these pics again:

Here are the navy heels with my AHR dress. They actually went really well with my MOH's dress - she wore the same to both:

Love your shoe taste, lol! Where did you get your wedges from? I have to wear wedges because if I don't I will look so short. Thanks girl

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
