Show off your shoes....

Recommended Posts

Hey you Badgley wearing girls...do you find their shoes fit more on the narrow side?  I tried the Dylan shoe on once and it was so narrow I couldn't get my foot in it.  I'm scared to even try and order another for fear of having the same issue.

Lol, yes Peach I can imagine that high pitched sound...I think I made it when these shoes arrived in the mail!

Thank you ladies for your kind words.  I just wanted some feedback.   :-)   I can not wait to wear them!!

yes - I do find them rather narrow!! I have the Randall stilettos - I have pretty flat/wide feet and they are *almost* too narrow for me. I'll confess I have no intention of walking the aisle (or anywhere else!!) in them. They are just too high for me for keep on for any length of time, and I suck at walking in heels to begin with. But they will look smokin hot in a few pics! (I know - totally silly and frivolous splurge...I did get them on sale though - worth the $89!)

I LOVE these blue shoes.. what do you guys think if I wore the Kate Spade heel to both my shower party and wedding? I'd wear the Badgley Michkas for my dress rehersal dinner then. I don't know.. I'm so torn between these two shoes.

I have no intentions of wearing my shoes very long either!  i primarily got them for the getting ready and detail pics!!!!  but one thing that i did discover that came in really handy is that you can get heels shortened if need be.  I'm in NYC and took my Badgley 4 3/4" heel shoes to the Leather Spa on 5th ave and 54th (i think) and for $20 they took the heel down 1/4" which really makes a difference.  they are MUCH easier to walk in!

My wedding colors were pink and orange. I searched for months for shoes with this colors that were not herendous looking! I finally found these hot pumps by BCBG. They sort of have a tiedye effect.

These are the shoes that my 2yo daughter (flower girl) wore. They also matched perfect. The shoes also squeeked everytime she walked which made her smile while she was walking up the isle! They were a hit as well!

Then I found flats that matched perfectly, I wore this after we were announced at the reception for dancing. They were also by BCBG

Tori - You have been searching for navy blue heels for what seems like forever and these are perfect!  The color is fantastic and the shoe will certainly compliment your dress!!!  While the navy CL's made you giddy (what bride wouldn't be giddy over navy cl's?!) these are a perfect choice especially if you are wearing them for such a short time!

Are you hemming your dress to the heels or flats?  They look short enough of a heel where it shouldnt make that much of a difference with your hem right?!

ps... have fun at your fitting!!!!!!

I am looking for HONEST opinions on what you think.... I can still return these so I am hoping for some feedback before I make the final decision!!!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
