Where are you getting married? We're doing the gazebo too, but what about walking down the  "aisle"? Are you afraid you'll sink or is there a walkway?

Those are lovely, I'm not a huge barefoot sandals person, but these ones are so nice and bridal!  I've seen some TTD shots with them on too and they look beautiful in pics.

Ok, shoes are eluding me!  I search every single day to no avail!  We are having our ceremony and reception in the sand but I do not want a flat!  I want a wedge to avoid sinking into the sand but cannot find one that I think goes well with my dress.  HELP!!!  Any lovely wedges out there that anyone has found????  Dear God this is worse than looking for my dress!!!

Very pretty shoes! I like that they coordinate with the bridesmaid's shoes but have their own look and feel. Nice job!

I saw these online and just HAD to get them.  I'll probably only wear them for like 20 minutes before changing into flip flops (which I still need to find), but I think they are so cute!

And I think I like these for bridesmaids, but in black:  They kind of match mine, but are different enough.

Agreed! I want cute shoes to wear too, but there is no way those heels will hold up in the sand. I think I'll end up being barefoot at the ceremony and then change into heels for the reception.

I LOVED these shoes on Amazon...and they're on sale, but they've never had my size : (

I have been looking too, and am thinking maybe not fabric as I'm worried the sand would stain/scratch up the fabric on the heel too much?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
