Show off your shoes....

Recommended Posts

@Tenny, I'm positive I won't be in mine all the time. hehe mmmm flip flips! :D I do, however, want cute shoes that I can wear for pictures and/or dinner, etc. Plus, they're just too damn cute! Couldn't help myself. But, to be practical and to be comfortable (very important things!), I opted to get the flip flops, too. Can't wait for the shoes to come in! I keep refreshing the tracking sites. haha

@Sallee Thank you! I looked for days at several different white flip flops for something that wasn't outrageously priced and cute. At the same time, I didn't want dingbat flops, either! lol

I'm also going to be making several pairs of flip flops though, so I'll let you ladies know how all the shoes turn out!

That's my justification. msnwink.gif The other justification is that my shoe size is always out. So, once I find a shoe I like, I have to jump on it. I've had several "*&^&^%# Missed my chance!!!" moments. Initially, I lusted after a gorgeous, but very expensive pair of jelly flip flops. But, after thinking things over, I just couldn't justify spending that much money on a pair of jellies when that money could go toward buying two pairs of nice shoes for the cost of one. Plus, hubby is our only source of income right now. I'm studying for the bar exam. (*&&^%$#*^%$#mad.gifBangHead.gif) So... who knows, maybe down the line, I'll end up with different shoes (as I am always looking at shoes). But for now, here are my shoes for the DW dinner and beach ceremony.

I went back and forth on shoes. First I had bought fuchsia Betsey Johnson platform heels that were totally cute. But knowing how I don't last in heels long, I opted for the pair of sandals below:

I'm pretty happy with the decision and my feet are happy in the sandals!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
