We finally got our boarding pass invites out last weekend. They were a huge hit with all our guests. I believe we started with the template off the knot website that someone posted awhile back. Thanks to everyone on here for all the information and great photos that helped soo much!

SUPPLIES

  • Ticket Jacket Paper = program paper, 50 to a pack, made by gartner studios from michaels, used 2 packs, $9.99 per pack
  • These have a silver outline on the one flap,I put this on the inside flap and could not see it, they already had prefolded edges which made them look much nicer than folding cardstock.
  • Ribbon for bows - michaels, 99¢ a roll , used 9 rolls
  • Brown Envelopes - Target Clearance Item, these were baby announcements. The brown ended up matching the brown on the ticket jacket. 1.99 on clearance for pack of 12. Saved the actual announcement card for baby in the future(hopefully its a boy)!
  • Glue Sticks to hold inner ticket flap down. $1.00
  • Boarding Pass Tickets = 80# card stock, cut with friskars 12" cutter, michaels, on sale with coupon.
  • Printed all at home on a minolta laser printer
  • Fonts: Avalon, Arabella, Spyrosclassic

We made 90 of the invites, it took a few nights to do all of the graphics work on the computer. The map of mexico/cabo took some time to get all of the colors to match. I think it all turned out really nice. Hopefully everyone here agrees as well. We have had so many compliments from family and friends.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
