twobirds bridesmaid they are only in New York but they are coming out to Los Angeles for the weekend. This is the dress you wear 12 different ways. I have had my BM's try on some dresses from Vera wang, and melissa sweet but I'm not really sure how i feel about them. I will post those pics when i upload them, but I'm really excited about the Two-birds dress. I will post pics and let you what they are like in person after the appointment.

here are 2 that i'm considering, but i'm not really that excited about them...I'm still looking. both these dresses are big on her, so they look a bit funny. but i would have them shortened just above the knee.

this one would have a lighter color sash, maybe tan or champagne and its strapless (those are her bra straps)

I'm not usually a fan of bridesmaid dresses made by bridal gown designers, but I saw this dress in a magazine a few months ago. Its a Alvina Valenta, but it seems like something that the bridesmaids might want to wear again. I'm not doing a matchy wedding party so I'm leaving the dress decisions up to my BM's, but maybe this would help you? (secretly I might buy the dress just for me lol)

I'm the same way! at first i was gonna leave it up to all the BM's to choose their own dresses, but then i got worried since i have 8 of them...
What i really want is different dresses with different shades of one color, but thats if i do a color (i.e. blue) other than tan or champagne. I was also thinking of looking at Betsy johnson or something and having them all wear different dresses (I saw a bride did this once). we'll see how this fitting goes next weekend. I love this dress that you posted, where do i find it?

When I first went to the Alvina Valenta website I loved almost everything. Here's the link Alvina Valenta Couture Bridal Gowns, Bridesmaid Gowns, and Evening Gowns

You could always pick a length and material (ie, silk knee length) and a designer and have the bm's pick one and run it by you first. Sometimes designers make all their dresses sort of go together, there's just a similar air to them all and they always look nice together.

Kate - I loved your wedding dress! :) it is so beautiful!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
