Thank you everyone for the wonderful welcoming!

 

Matt and I got engaged July 23, 2008 in Atlantic City on the beach. I love the beach so we are planning a wedding on the beach. I originally wanted to get married on the beach here in Jersey, but became very expensive.

We like Sandals Royal Caribbean Resort and is our first choice when we make our final decision. We are just hoping that there are no problems with our single friends joining us.

I am going to DB tonight to start the dress shopping.

Kelly, I was told that sandals cannot accomodate singles (however I asked if two people can stay in the same room and they said yes-but keep in mind at Sandals they have king beds), singles can stay at Beaches though. I wound up chosing to have the ceremony/reception at a Beaches when I was planning on Jamaica. Let me know if you have any questions

Yes, my friends have no problems sharing beds. I like the Beaches Turks & Caicos but I just didnt want to have to deal with children running around when I was trying to relax.

they have Beaches and sandals in Jamaica-that's why we were looking there-so people who wanted to stay at an Adult AI could stay at sandals and familes and singles could stay at Beaches. Also to have their free wedding you would need to stay at Beaches for the first few nights (until the day after the wedding) and then you can move over to a Sandals

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
