Trouble with bridesmaid dresses

Recommended Posts

I seriously do not like all the BM drama that comes when you are getting married. I was so happy when I kicked my friend out and just had my sister. When it is family you can yell at them all you want and in the end you are still friends because they are family. I am sorry they are being so difficult!

THe drama I have noticed is that they are SO concerned with them looking good. It's not like they are happy to be participating, but rather they want to make sure they look the best. It's like Hello- focus please! I mean we all want to look good, but some just bitch about even a really decent dress. I feel sorry for brides everywhere.

They have no reason to be that difficult. I'm sure they can find a white dress over the next couple of months. It is summer time. I saw a really cute one on anthropologie, it was on the expensive side though. And like someone else said old navy had a bunch of white stuff. There's always sundresses in white. They need to get over theirselves and not put added stress on you. They are supposed to be helping you with stressful situations not making it worse. I'm so glad I have to very cooperative bms, of course their related my sis and fsil.

I was leery also on what my bridesmaids should wear and I was worried about if they could afford their dress. Since were having our wedding in Jamaica I didn't want everyone to spend a lot of money. But I asked them to wear cream. I don't care what style it is, whatever flatters their figure and looks good to them. However, it has to be cream. So I say, if you want them to wear white, then that's what you should stick to.

Old Navy does have a lot of white dresses and they are pretty reasonably priced. They just have to do some looking - that's all!

Old Navy has a whole section of really cute white dresses right now, I think all of them are under $50. David's isn't my favorite place but they do have a great selection of BM dresses. I think this is a very reasonable request and if it is what you want, you need to stick with it!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
