Bestbridalprices.com- Love them!

I know this website has already been talked about, but I think this deserves it's own thread.

As some of you know I found a FABULOUS Sottero and Midgley a while back. I totally fell in love with it....

This was it:

Anyhow, I ordered it but when we found out we were having a baby, I didn't want to risk it not fitting and being stuck with it. It wasn't going to come in until the first week of June.

Last week, I called Mary back at bestbridalprices.com to see about cancelling my beautiful dress. She called the designers shop where it was to be shipped from and if it hadn't been shipped she was going to ask them to cancel. Aparently, their refund policy is to charge 50% restocking fee or something. Luckily, it hadn't been shipped so she pleaded with them to cancel for me. They agreed. Yay!

But, because my original dress qualified for the $170 worth of free merchandise, I would have to pay for that unless I found another dress that was more than $500. This sucked because I didn't even want any of the free stuff, I just got it because it was free.

I called her back today to tell her I decided to go with a $165 bridesmaid dress in ivory. She was able to cancel the free merchandise for me with the exception of 2 items that they had already received. Which is totally fine because it was the earrings and bracelet that I really wanted.

I m rambling here, just because I am so excited. Mary rocks and so does bestbridalprices.com! Great customers service and they really helped me out!

The $630 credit we are getting back is going to baby furniture! Yay!!

They sound great to work with!

oh no! Did you leave a little room just in case? I know you ordered your dress before you found out you were pregnant though. I hope you can get it altered if you need to!

smile105.gif No, I ordered the size that fit perfect at that time. There might be 2-3 inches extra tops. It's silk taffeta too, so I don't know how easy it will be to add material. It comes in in about a week so I will ask them then and see what we can do.

I might end up being a 2 dress bride after all. I gonna try and squeeze into it for the ceremony and change after so I can be comfortable.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
