Out of curiosity, I see that there are two photographers on here. Do you two work out of Vegas? Is there a way to look at your prices? I am in between becoming a Jamaica bride or a Vegas bride and we're trying to do this on the best budget possible.. Let me know your answers because both of your pictures are great!

Thanks again girls! I got back their sample album..it was our first time using the album vendor, Graphistudio, this made a stunning album! The bright colors just popped! If any of your photographers offer books by Graphi, definitely check them out, they are worth their price!

Hi allaboutodd...yes, there are a lot of great photographers on this forum! I'll send you a pm regarding your questions for me :)

HI. Id love to chat with you. I am getting married 8/8/08 at 8 pm with the same company-Classic vegas weddings. I'd love to compare notes and get to know you. Where are you staying? When are you arriving? We are flying in on 8/6 and the guy said we should get our license on the 7th. Please get back to me-maybe we can help each other out :)

I was doing a search to try to find the once existant website for Classic Vegas Weddings & I came across this site, so I thought to check it out. In lieu of our recent wedding at the Valley of Fire (5/28/0cool.gif & noticing this post about the same wedding company we used, I wanted to share our experience.....I'll try to do so in a nut shell. We booked thru CVW in December 2007. Everything sounded great, although they double charged us in January, but were quick to call me to correct the charges. We phoned them when we arrived in town on the 25th of May. That was when they should have told us their business partnership was dissolved & they no longer employed a professional photographer. Their limo picked us up on time, but there wasn't any bottled water as promised. I know, it sounds really petty, but when everything else is considered, it's just one of several things that ended up absolutely horrible. They gave me the wrong colored flowers, which they were quick to correct, even though I confirmed the color/type a month prior to our wedding date. We were unable to use the 2 songs we chose for our DVD picture disk because "their equipment wasn't working properly". The icing on the wedding cake (so to speak) is they LOST our pictures!!! We're fortunate family & friends took what pictures they did, otherwise we'd have absolutely nothing. I had to repeatedly call them 2 weeks after we came home asking where our pictures were. The story I was given was: his computer had to be reformatted so everything was lost including our pictures (now, why wouldn't a company have a hard back up instead of relying on a computer when we all know computers sometimes have meltdownshuh.gif!!), he lost the tracking number receipt (what kind of company keeps such horrible paper trails??!!), he reused the picture card in his camera to take other wedding photographs so our pictures were completely gone, but he did refund us $649, not the entire package cost, of course. We filed an investigation w/ the post office but I'm sure nothing will show up. The thing is, my friend is a postal carrier & he told me the same thing the post office did; the person who sent the package w/ the tracking number can go to the post office they used to send the package & they can try to locate it based on the day it was sent....but oh, wait, CVW couldn't even give me an exact date when he sent the disk! So, with all this being said, ladies, PLEASE be careful when you choose your wedding company, use priority mail to receive any pictures/DVD's (btw, they did give us our DVD the day of our wedding thank GOD!!), ask to see the pictures after the ceremony is finished (all cameras have the "preview" option) & do your research thru the Better Business Bureau for the location you choose to get married at. There's several other things that happened also, but I don't want to use any more time to type everything out. Best of luck to everyone who uses Classic Vegas Weddings & hopefully this won't happen to anyone else.

This is exactly the reason why I cancelled with CVW!!

Trey ( the photographer from cvw) left due to Shawn's practices and opened up his own business-Vintage Vegas Weddings so I rebooked with him so I can have him as my photographer.

Any info needed-please feel free to PM me.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
