I love how you put things!

I agree! I cannot imagine my life without FI and definitely plan on spending the rest of my life with him. But things happen & people change. You just never know what life is going to throw at you. Plus, I am not a tattoo person - I do not have any (although I really like them on other people!)

I do like the idea of a tattoo under the band though. If you are not jewellery people then you can just get a simple band. It's cheaper & not as "flashy" if that's not what you're into!

My FI is left handed and insists that a ring will "get in his way." He's been wearing a test one (cheap thing I got from a shoe store) to try it out, but he whines about it all the time. He suggested getting a tattoo. I want him to do tattoo and ring but I have a feeling he is going to forget the ring all the time since it's so "itchy" and "cumbersome." I don't mind getting one too. It'd have to be small because in my profession having something too obvious would be a problem.

First off, I love the idea....second, having tattoos myself I am aware of what happens to tattoos, your hands (fingers included) and feet are two places that tattooers don't like tattooing. The reason is hands and feet get used a lot and tattoos do fade on parts that get used a lot. I got a ladybug on my hand 6 years ago and have had to get it touched up twice. I just wanted you to know that this is a possibility.

I caught shit the other day from my FI, because I inadvertantly mentioned that I leave my Ering on when I play hockey -- he wasn't keen on that. Ooops. HAHA.

Ive got tattoos and getting a ring tattooed on my finger isn't something I would personally do - however, if that's what floats your boat - go nuts.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
