That is pretty cool!

I love the tattoo idea. However I would like my FI to do it because he works with his hands all the time and we have both agreed that I will not cry when he loses the ring...because he will...we both know that.
We did decided to get him a titanum ring so that he won't scratch and dent the heck out of it, but I think a tattoo would be great.

I do agree that it would have to be touched up a lot..ouch!thewave.gif

Sigh! I mentioned this idea to my FI last night as I know he probably won't wear his ring on his finger since he says he finds them "uncomfortable" and can't get used to them. He totally shot this idea down because he said he didn't want one, I just think he doesn't want tattoos because his parents are so anti-tattoo (which is why I want more, haha).

He said if worse comes to worse, he will wear his wedding band on the chain he wears 24/7. Blahhh....

  • 1 year later...

Does anyone who did this have pics? My FI is getting a cheap band because I want to put one on his finger during the ceremony & have one in pics, but he won't wear it. He wants to get my name tattooed on his ring finger (his idea). I told him it needs to be done before we leave for the cruise if he's not going to wear the band, so how long before the wedding should he have it done?

My FI and I have a bit of a different idea, because we were told that the ring tattoo fade's so fast... ( we may still do that though:)My FI's wedding band we picked out is from a cute little celtic shop here in saskatoon! The band says "Bright, Love of my life" in gaelic. I'm getting "Bright, love of my life" tattooed on my foot!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
