Does anyone else hear their first dance song and cry?

Does anyone else hear their first dance song and cry or am I the only one??

OMG the past two times I have heard it I can't control the waterworks!

I was just driving in to work and our song came on and of course I couldn't get out of the car until it was over but when I did get out makeup was RUINED!! I had makeup all running down my face. I had to run into the bathroom and re do it. Thank God for big sunglasses!

I am like that with almost every lovey dovey song I hear anymore. It's like since I started planning this wedding I have turned into the biggest sap there is. Just thinking about saying my vows and looking at my family makes me cry lol. I am ridiculous.

Arrghhhhh! I have the exact opposite problem! We have listened to "our song" and the song we will all be walking to so much over the last few months to get in the mood, that whenever we hear them on the radio or ipod we turn the station or change the song. I don't want to get sick of them, that will just cause me one more thing to do last min, find and download more songs! Yikes!

We don't have a song yet, we still "auditioning" them!

However when I was researching to write our own ceremony, I was a total mess! I cry when I read our ceremony, but I'm trying to practice so on the big day I won't be a basket case! I'm such a crier anyways that I don't think there's much I can do to stop the waterworks!

OMG - I know...I am the exact same! My daughter will look at me and go "Mom - are you going to cry again?" And she says it with that pre-teen disgust in her voice. (imagine eyes rolling)

I told her to not even ask anymore and quit trying to make me feel guilty because she is a bigger cry baby than me! We went to a friends wedding and she cried the entire time!

When I would listen the my father daughter dance song in the car, I would CRY MY EYES OUT! I cried a lot when I would hear our song as well.

I thought I was going to be a big crying mess on our wedding day. Especially since I cry at every wedding I go to!

So you can imagine my surprise when I didn't shed one tear all day on our wedding day! I couldn't believe it! I was just so happy & giddy, I couldn't even think of crying!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
