Welcome back! I'm a KY bride too! We're going through The Travel Authority and would be happy to pass along my agent's info. Also, you should check out one of the TAs on the board as they are familiar with weddings. It shouldn't matter that they aren't local to you.

Hi :) Welcome back! I'm actually new myself.

 

I just posted my introductory thread...we're getting married at the Moon Palace January 17, 2009.

 

I've never stayed there before, but I have family who has and had an amazing time. We've actually stayed at the Cancun Place and were so impressed, that when it came time to decide where to get married, we knew exactly where.

 

One of the things I like most about the palace resorts is that if you stay 3 or more nights, they actually include some excursions.

 

As far as travel agents...we're in NYC and oru agent is in FL...as long as they're good, the distance doesn't matter :)

That's a tough choice!

 

Personally, I would recommend the Moon Palace as they tend not to nickel & dime you and they do a fantastic job! Plus, the bonus excursions are a great value add for your guests that stay longer than 3 days!

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
