So I know dreams doesn't have the wristbands like RIU...so how do they know that you are a paying guests there? I am just wondering if you carry around a card like on a cruise that they scan or something?

I'm curious because if you have to then maybe it would be a good idea to put some sort of card holder thing they can wear around their neck in the oot bags?

They dont hand out cards. They just ask you when you order drinks by the pool or when you go to dinner what your room number is and they keep track that way.
Honestly I'm not sure how this keeps people from sneaking in and abusing the whole system but really it is a small resort I'm sure if someone did try and take advantage of the system they would be noticed a lot quicker than we think.

Oh I'm sure they would and i'm guessing they haven't had too many people abuse it or they probably would have changed it...

Okay so I guess I don't need the lanyard things... thanks!

in pv, they were VERY careful at the gate...you couldn't go in our out w/o telling your room # (doorbell brb) shit.

I wondered this too....thanks for answering....I'm sure they have some kind of unspoken system for keeping non guests out.

Same in Cabo.. they check at the gate if you're a guest or visitor.. and they do have security guards on the beach. I think the security is mainly to keep people from bothering the guests but the resort is fairly small and they may ask you to confirm your room number.

If you're dining with a few couples, they may ask for multiple room numbers.

I was wondering this. My FSIL got married at a resort and they were going to make her pay $50 to take off her wrist band (and put it back on) for pictures!!
